A creamy, high-fiber, dairy-free alternative to milk. Perfect for cereal, coffee, and more!

Ingredients:

½ cup

50g

7%

Rolled oats (do not use quick oats)

3 cups

0.7 liter

93%

Ice water

Directions

  1. Set up your Vidiem Mixer-Grinder by placing the filter into the juicer attachment.
  2. Place all of the oats into your Vidiem and set the filter lid in place. Pulse about 5 times or until the oats are finely ground.
  3. Pour 2 cups of ice water (discarding the ice cubes) into the filter and secure the filter lid and blender jar lid. Blend on Speed 1 for about 5 seconds.
  4. Pour the remaining cup of ice water into the filter, replace the lid, and blend another 5-10 seconds.Blending for too long will cause the oat milk to become slimy, so make sure to blend in short bursts.
  5. Enjoy immediately or store refrigerated in a clean glass container for up to 5 days.

Yield: 3 cups

Pro Tips

  •  If any sediment remains, the oat milk can be strained through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or thin dish towel.
  • If using unsweetened coconut,  try adding honey, maple syrup, or your favorite sweetener.
  • A pinch of sea salt will enhance the flavor.
