Strawberry-Cherry Smoothie Bowl

A smoothie bowl is simply a smoothie that’s thick enough to eat with a spoon, and it makes for a nutritious, filling breakfast or snack! They are easily customizable depending on what frozen fruit and toppings you have on hand. This combination of strawberries, cherries, and banana is delicious topped with more banana, a drizzle of peanut butter, and a sprinkle of shredded coconut!
Ingredients:
½ cup frozen strawberries
⅓ cup frozen cherries
½ banana
2 Tbsp dairy or non-dairy yogurt
¼ cup dairy or non-dairy milk, plus more as needed
Desired toppings, such as peanut butter, shredded coconut, granola, flax seeds
Directions
- 1. Set up your Vidiem Mixer-Grinder by placing the large jar onto the motor base.
- 2. Add the strawberries, cherries, banana, yogurt, and milk to the jar and secure the lid.
- 3. Pulse 2-3 times, then blend on speed 1 until smooth (it will be very thick).
- 4. If the mixture is not becoming smooth, add more milk in tablespoon increments and blend again.
- 5. Pour into a bowl, add toppings, and serve immediately.
Yield: 1 serving
Tips
1. Slice the other half of the banana and use as a topping
2. Top with granola or seeds (flax, chia) for some crunch
