Chimichurri

Chimichurri

Chimichurri is a flavorful herb sauce that is great for the summer. It pairs well with grilled items like steak, fish, and vegetables to give them a boost of brightness. This recipe is quick and easy to prepare in just a few minutes!

    


Ingredients:

⅓ cup parsley leaves

⅓ cup cilantro leaves

2 Tbsp fresh oregano

1 small red or green chile, with or without seeds

1 clove of garlic

⅓ cup olive oil

⅔ cup red wine vinegar

Salt, to taste

Directions

  1. Set up Vidiem Mixer-Grinder by placing the chutney jar onto the motor base.
  2. Add all of the ingredients, in order, to the jar and secure the lid.
  3. For a sauce with some texture, pulse a few times, holding the lid tightly in place.
  4. For a smoother sauce, blend on speed 1 for a few seconds.

Yield: About 1 cup

Storage: Transfer to a container with a tight-fitting lid and keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
