Basic Pancakes

Basic Pancakes

Making pancake batter in a blender helps you achieve a perfectly fluffy texture. This basic recipe is easily customizable, so feel free to get creative! Once the batter is finished blending, fold in your mix-ins by hand (like chocolate chips or berries) and cook until golden on both sides.

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

1 Tbsp sugar

Pinch of salt

3/4 cup milk of choice

1 egg, lightly beaten

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 Tbsp butter, as needed for cooking

Directions

  • 1. Set up your Vidiem Mixer-Grinder by placing the chutney jar onto the motor base.
  • 2. Add all of the dry ingredients to the jar. Then, add milk, egg, and vanilla extract
  • 3. Secure the lid and blend on speed 1 for a few seconds, until just combined.
  • 4. If adding any mix-ins such as chocolate chips or berries, add them to the jar and stir to combine.
  • 5. Preheat a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add about ½ a tablespoon of butter to the pan to melt.
  • 6. Use a ¼ cup measuring cup to scoop batter into the skillet. Flip pancakes when the first side is golden brown, about 2 minutes.
  • 7. Serve immediately.

Yield: 10-12 pancakes

Storage:Wrap leftovers and store in the fridge for up to 2 days
